This was our view during our picnic. Awesome.
We came upon this cool rock house that provides shelter for hikerson the Ozark Highland Trail.
(The total trail is 165 miles in AR and then connects with the Ozark Trail in MO).

One of the entries to the trail is only a 30 minute drive from our house.
I so enjoyed the peacefulness and beauty of this trail. The stillness and quiet was refreshing.

Maybe Val, Brooklyn and I can come down after winter. Brooklyn should be just about the right size for backpacking.
