Here are the Momma Cows waiting for their calves. I can hear them bawling now...
This was Olivia and Logan's first time to experience a round-up. This was hard stuff, not too many kids realize what all is involved. Ours do now. It took a lot of explaining and comforting to get Logan to participate. He did not like the sound of it all. But eventually, he became brave and helped with giving PaPa the needle.
Close to the action, and staying close to Daddy.
Ready to be brave on his own. I was so proud of Logan...it took him a lot of courage...He is such a thinker & compassionate young man.
And then, Olivia. She is amazing...no fear, brave and determined. She would have carried that big needle all by herself, if I would have let her.
